9am Cortisol blood test

Saw my GP this morning regarding TSH level etc.

He said my Cortisol was ok but not great at 555. I rang the surgery later to find out what a 'normal' level was and they said it wasn't written on the results just 'no action'.

She did say in 2015 my result was 545 so no real change.

Can anyone clarify this please and advise if this affects my 'possible' Hashimoto hypothyroidism?

Ysands,

I'm sorry you have had no replies. Feel free to repost your question.

Cortisol levels don't affect whether you have Hashimoto's. It is elevated thyroid peroxidase or thyroglobulin antibodies which confirm Hashimoto's.
