Taking hrt and numbers are dropping

Just began taking hrt in Oct. 53 years old, hysterectomy 6 years ago. First Dr. put me on divigel, said I did not need progesterone since I do not have a uterus. 2nd Dr. prescribed Bioidentical hormone cream with estrogen and progesterone cream. After blood tests came back, he felt I wasn't absorbing them so put me on bio troche. The past two months of taking those, my numbers have dropped further. I have terrible insomnia and major hair loss. Am also on 65 Wp Thyroid. He suggested doubling my hrt troche. Wondering if this would hurt or help the hair loss and also any information on why my numbers continue to drop would be greatly appreciated.

Oct. Nov. Jan. March

DHT <1.0 1.5 2.3 1.6

DHEA 91.2 89.2 76.3 72.9 (41.2-243)

Progesterone 0.4 0.8 0.8 0.7

Estradiol 16.9 94.7 <5.0 <5.0

Ferritin 280 310 336 342 (15-150)

Testosterone 5.0 13 12 5.1

SEx Hormone Bin. 33.5 40.7 36.2 38.2 (17.3-125.0)

Any help with why numbers are going down would be greatly appreciated.

Oct. was on divigel topical

Nov. and Jan was on bio estrogen and progesterone cream topical

March blood test had been on estrogen progesterone troche.

Thanks for any feedback.

Sdp10112,

I'm sorry you've had no replies. Feel free to repost your question and results.

Ferritin is high. If you are not supplementing iron high ferritin usually indicates inflammation somewhere in the body.
