Need help as only diagnosed 2 yrs ago just found this site

Found this site and so relieved that there is a community out there of people who have the similar issues as me. I am on 75 mags levothyroxine daily, the gap tells me that my bloods are fine. However I feel awful, tired cold hair loss dry skin etc.etc. I saw a programme on the BBC ' trust me I'm a doctor' looking at this issue. Anyway I realised that maybe what I need is T3 some NDH or NDT. Can anyone help me with where to get some of this on the internet please? I am at the end of my rope and really need some help/ advice. Thank you

Jackhel If you post your latest thyroid test results, with reference ranges, members can comment on whether you are on a sufficient dose of Levo (75mcg is a starter dose) and whether you appear to be converting T4 to T3 well enough. You may just need an increase in Levo.

It would also help to have the following tested, as we need optimal levels of vitamins and minerals tested for any thyroid hormone to work properly:

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

If you post your recent thyroid results with the ranges (the figures in brackets after results) members will advise whether you are optimally medicated. If you are under medicated an increase in Levothyroxine dose may be all you need. Your GP receptionist can give you a print out of your recent results and ranges.
