Help interpreting latest results, please.

Hi

I had my latest bloods done yesterday; the first since using NDT. They appear to be significantly better than my last couple of results taken when I was on Levo. My Ferritine and Folate are fine - that much I can see, but considering these latest tests were done 24 hours after my daily 150mg of Thyro-Gold (approx 1 1/4 grain) I'm wondering if I might need to drop down a fraction... Any thoughts gratefully received.

TSH. 0.046 (0.270-4.200)

T4L. 15.2 (9.3-17.00)

T3L. 4.6 2.00-4.4)

Just to add - these results are hugely different to the last ones taken a couple of months ago. Still feeling a bit low and somewhat fatigued... Nothing drastic. (Oh, have palpitations, but had them when I was obviously undermedicated. Seeing a cardiologist in a couple of weeks.

How do you drop a fraction of ThyroGold? TSH is low, but not suppressed, and FT4 is within range. Your FT3 is so mildly over range I wouldn't worry about it unless you feel over medicated.

Many thanks for your reply. I admit I don't really know what I'm doing... If you think those numbers look okay, then I am one happy boy. As for dropping a fraction, it would mean opening the capsule and seperating out a bit of the powder, which is a trial and not particulary accurate. I did it when I started, but then halving the powder was easy, whereas nipping off a tiny bit the same size every time would be nigh-on impossible
