Does anyone else get increased PMS symptoms when you're levels aren't optimal? It's one of my alarm bells that I'm not well and I feel awful today.
I was diagnosed in 2013 and it took about 1.5 years to get my levels optimal but once I did it felt great. Feeling good lasted for just over 2 years but for the past 6 months I've been feeling awful again. I saw an endo last week who suggested I try T3 so I'm hoping that might work. Plus my weight just keeps rising and it's scary. Sorry for the blurt and my emotional post last night - it's the PMT's fault! Has anyone else felt well for years but then had a setback?

People do have setbacks because thyroid dysfunction worsens and dose then needs adjusting. Some people have been fine on Levothyroxine for years and then suddenly it doesn't seem to work for them Quite often this coincides with the menopause.
