Beta blockers may reduce T4 to T3 conversion.

Hi Clutter, I am on T3 only. Does that make a difference?

Taking T3 direct will overcome reduced conversion.

I was placed on Atenolol ten years ago and after a year or so of taking the drug my heart rate went down to 34, I was rushed to hospital with suspected heart failure, fortunately this was not the case but discovered this beta blocker can cause a slow pulse, obviously I was not informed of this side effect.
