New study identifies threshold for vitamin D supplementation

A new RCT published by the journal Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise determined athletes given 5,000iu D3 daily (35,000iu weekly) had better effects than those given 1 x weekly dose of 70,000iu which could have some negative effects.
