Help needed with thyroid results please

Can anyone help, just had first lot of private tests and had a note saying query , graves or hashimotos. These are my results but I don't understand them.

CRP 1.00, ferritin 102.2, tsh 1.52, t4 total 85.4, free t4 17.67, free t3 3.8

TSH 1.52, FT4 17.67 and FT3 3.8 is euthyroid (normal). If you are taking Levothyroxine and you are still symptomatic there is scope to increase dose to improve FT4 and FT3. The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 1.0 or lower with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Thyroid peroxidase and thyroglobulin antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

CRP is an inflammation marker and 1.0 is low which is good.

Ferritin is optimal half way through range but >100 is usually good.

B12 301 is low in range. If you have any of the symptoms listed in b12d.org/b12-signs-symptoms... pop over to healthunlocked.com/pasoc for advice.

Folate 10.67 is unlikely to be deficient but I can't be sure whether it is low without seeing the lab ref range (figures in brackets after results).

It says 8.83 - 60.8 after folate result

Debbiej123,

It's not deficient but is very low in range. If you are advised to supplement B12 you should take some folic acid to improve folate too.
