Adrenal insufficiency

Hello. I am new to this site.

I had an adrenal test done last month and was told my adrenals have "packed up" due to long term taking of Prednisolone [ 17 years. ] I have just received my appointment to see and Endocronologist but not until the end of May, I read that the treatment will be Prednisolone which I am already taking 7.5 mgs. so my question is what can i expect fro the Endo.
