The second blood test

Hello im back again..the last weeks i had a lot to do..now getting my blood test results with 50 mikrogrammes thyroxin and the doctor say its quiet good with the dose. ill need to stay on this dos. but im still feeling tired in the morning and my skin is try .. i think ill need to wait another month if its going to be better.

Hi - if you post the results with ranges, then we can advise whether or not your doctor is correct in saying your results are quite good. Experience within this forum, as well as your symptoms, says he is probably not.

thanks for the answers..im taking my tablets after the blood test as u told me at the first post in january..now i should ask for the results from the lab..they should give me they next time.ill write u as soon as possible.

Ask for, and always get, a print-out of your blood test results with the ranges. You can then post if you have a query as it gives members a better idea on how to respond.

I assume you get the earliest possible appointment, fasting and leave a gap of approximately 24 hours between your last dose and the blood test and take it afterwards.
