I watched the programme tonight bout Thyroid problems,treatment etc, it was very interesting & an eye opener..

Was this on BBC1? I missed it but wish I had seen it. Had an appointment with Endocrinologist last week which was a completer waste of time. Didn't get my T3 levels checked and he put my symptoms down to depression. My TSH was 0.1mu/L.

Hi there,,,Yes it was nellybee, my husband called me and watched it too, he was taken aback how much the Thyroid does to our bodies etc, and with tests,getting meds even right doses,,was a huge Eye-opener... Oh bless you! hope you can get things sorted. My sister said same with her visits,,she new to the Thyroid from summer last year, mine been for years,,so she has kinda changed her attitude towards me now,,lol. Thank you Helen230. I have a follow up appointment in 3 months and will push for T3 levels to be checked.

BBC2 Nelly - Trust Me I'm a Doctor, it'll be on iPlayer. It didn't really tell us anything we don't already know really. I hope there were plenty of GPs watching though, they could learn something from it!

Mantras131 The programme was called trust me im a doctor ,BBC2 good to see at least that Thyroid was was being talked about ,and T3 meds even got mentioned ,not on long enough though, but guess it was better than nothing :))) ....
