JNaughton,

You need your thyroid levels checked. I know your GP said April but it should be done 6-8 weeks after you started Levothyroxine or after dose was increased.

Thanks cutter, don't mean to be a pain but im normally fit and well so all this is getting me down! I feel when I mention how I'm feeling to ppl they look at me like I'm lying. So feel I don't have anyone that understands how much this is effecting me. Work is a struggle too but they are sending me to see occupational health to see if I need to change rolls. Not sure where they would put me.

JNaughton,

You aren't being a pain. Well people really don't get what a chronic condition feels like. They aren't being unkind but they think their illnesses get better within a few days and really don't understand how debilitating it is when you feel ill for weeks and months.

The sooner you see your GP the sooner you can arrange a blood test to see whether your dose needs adjusting. Please make sure OH know that you aren't yet optimally medicated and fully expect any adjustments they make for you to be temporary until you are optimally medicated.
