Interesting article about the relationship between these and the overlap in symptoms.

I've read a few times that some kinds of ovarian cysts have shrunk and disappeared when women were put on thyroid hormones or had their existing doses increased.

There have also been a few anecdotal reports that endometriosis reduces in severity when thyroid hormone levels are optimised.

I had very severe endometriosis. Just out of curiosity I occasionally keep tabs on the treatment offered by the NHS just to see if there have been any advances since I had my hysterectomy nearly 20 years ago. There appears to have been no change really, although some women are being given pain relief now which is something I never got.
