12 days post hemithyroidectomy ( Partial Thyroidectomy)

I'm 12 days post op today, going to collect my pathology results tomorrow. So fingers crossed for good result. Thought I'd share a picture of how I'm healing, looks really good ! Thought it may help anyone who is having the procedure x

Amazing how fast we heal isn't it? You'll barely see that scar in a few months. I hope the pathology result is benign.

Hi Adele-84,

Looking good. Nice neat incision. I'm 4 weeks post total thyroidectomy and mine is looking fine too, no swelling. Good luck with the pathology results and let us know how it goes. I will get mine next Monday.

Great news ! I got the all clear, pre cancerous cells in the tumor but happy it's all out and no further treatment required !! Here's hoping my right side remaining picks up the slack and it's the end of this ordeal. Then I can concentrate on the rest of my health issues 😊
