Could Lyme's be associated with thyroid disease? Also, could it remain dormant for 20 years? Thanks in advance!

irme yes. The charity CaudwellLyme carried out a survey and something like 12% of respondents with Lyme disease also had thyroid disease. I've been tested and diagnosed privately with Lyme disease and now believe that I've had this for many years. Do not remember having the rash but then there was little awareness of Lyme until recently.

Edit: would also suggest obtaining a copy of all of your medical records.
