Ear drops and thyroid ??

Hi I have just been given FLUMETASONE /Clioquinol was reading On line and it mentioned thyroid so I'm a little worried to use them ☹️ And I am waiting for my thyroid test results to come back as I feel a bit hyper ☹️ Has anyone used these drops and had any problems while on thyroid meds ? Many thanks. Xxxx

lynnwin It doesn't mention that there are any interactions with thyroid meds, it just mentions that certain thyroid function tests may be affected, but it seems to say that T3 and T4 tests are unaffected. As you seem to have had your tests done before you started the drops anyway, I wouldn't worry as they wont have done those tests that are affected. I'm assuming it's just a short term medication until your ear problem clears up.

Thank you seaside susie just thought I don't want anything to make me feel worse than I do read about iodine and then t4 t3 and thought Nooooooo

Lol .. I have a ear infection I have pulsating tinnitus its driving me mad and the Gp thinks it's because of the infection ? I also have some Sofradex ear drops might try them first ? Thank you for you quick response since having this thyroid problem I'm cautious of everything I use ☹️ Xxxxxx
