Had such a bad experience with TEVA I really don't trust they have got it right. I'll be interested to hear people's experiences when released.

Anyone else noticed Teva Levo is back again?
I can understand your concern Nanaedake! However I imagine Teva will have been subjected to rigorous scrutiny by the MHRA before they were allowed to bring their new formulation to market.
BTW, Lyn Mynott posted about this a while ago. Here's the post in case you're interested. healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
I would like to have confidence in the MHRA but they had it so wrong as far as Levothyroxine is concerned that it'll take a lot of convincing. I don't believe they have any idea at all of the impact that minor changes can have. They will have to convince they are effectively controlling all the factors that make Levothyroxine unreliable. Still no legislation around storage of drugs in pharmacies and dispensaries such as monitoring ambient temperatures in the summer months, or exposure to light sources. How often will the MHRA physically check the factories and how often will they check the products to ensure they are compliant? Are they simply taking the manufacturers self-certification that they are compliant and what reassurance do we actually have? How rigorous is the ongoing monitoring or are they relying on patient reports?
Nanaedake, I echo all that you say as I also had a very bad experience with the old Teva and I'm pretty sure that the swings in dosing are what left me open to autoimmune thyroid disease, as shortly after stopping Teva and going on to Actavis and my dosage being messed around up and down by docs who knew nothing I became very unwell. Once TPO's were diagnosed it was advice from this site that helped me find the way back to being in better health. I went gluten and lacto free.
