I've been hypothyroid for 22 years, was settled on 175mcg of Levothyroxine until last year, when I was having symptoms of over-medication. I was living in Spain and had had a melt down. My psychiatrist suggested checking my levels and I was told to reduce to 137mcg daily. I then returned to the UK where my GP retested and said I was still overmedicated and reduced to 125. My latest bloods resulted in my Levothyroxine being reduced again to 100mcg. I'm symptomatic of being undermedicated, exhausted, brain fog, gained a stone in 6 months, although eating the same and being active. I decided to get a private home test, and the results are as attached. I'd really appreciate your thoughts everyone, before I go to see my GP.

Latest blood results, I'd be grateful for any advice and opinions.
Jackiez,
You weren't over medicated when that blood test was ordered. TSH is low in range, FT4 is halfway through range and could be higher, and FT3 is low in range and could be a lot higher. It is low FT3 which causes hypo symptoms. Ask your GP to increase dose. It doesn't matter if TSH drops below range as long as FT4 and FT3 remain within range. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email louise.roberts@tyroiduk.org.uk if you would like a copy of the Pulse article to show your GP.
The good news is that thyroid antibodies are negative for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's).
B12 is very low in range. If you have symptoms of B12 deficiency ask your GP to test intrinsic factor and gastric parietal cell antibodies to rule out pernicious anaemia before supplementing B12. If PA is ruled out you can supplement 5,000mcg methylcobalamin daily for a couple of months and then reduce to 1,000mcg daily. Take a B Complex vitamin too.
Folate is good.

Thank you, I did suggest to my GP that my symptoms could be due to pernicious anaemia, but he said if I didn't have a sore mouth and throat or stomach pain / upset, I didn't have pernicious anaemia!
