Help with adjusting NDT and t3

Hi everyone, I've just been to the endo and I need advice on what to do.

My levels are

T4 10 ref 9-23

T3 9.9 ref3.5-6.5

TSH 0.05 ref 1-4.6

I'm currently taking Thiroyd 2.5 grains and 10 mcg of liothyronine, I know my T3 is too high and T4 too low, I feel ok, a lot better than when I was on levo..

My heart races occasionally on a night, I have been putting this down to the menopause but maybe its because my T3 is too high?

I'd appreciate any help to adjust my doses.TIA xx

If you took NDT and T3 before your blood draw the T3 will peak in your blood for up to six hours giving a high FT3 result.

If you left 12-24 hours between last dose and blood draw you are over medicated. Dropping 10mcg T3 should be sufficient to drop FT3 back into range.

FT4 is usually lower when taking NDT or T3 than previously on Levothyroxine. It doesn't matter as long as FT3 is good.
