Very medicated and getting fed up

Hiya. Im 45 and have been UA for about 15 years, im currently on 375mcg of levo and am getting pretty fed up to be fair. I have 3 gawjuss grown up little people and 1 very spoilt Lhasa Apso who is pretty much the only thing keeping me sane

Hi bwitch, welcome to the forum.

That certainly is a very high dose - for these days, anyway! Do you have the copies of any of your labs? It's your legal right to have them, so if you haven't, pop along to the surgery and get them - with the ranges - and put them in a new post, with your symptoms (if any). That will give people a better idea what is going on with you.

I do have them but in graph form and its very confusing as the TSH results are marked on the graph different months than the T4 results. I shall nip in there today and ask for a print off (not in graph form)

Welcome to our forum. It may be that you need the addition of T3 to a reduced T4.

What you should do is get a blood test which also includes Free T4 and Free T3. T3 is the active hormone required in all our receptor cells. Levo is inactive and has to convert to T3 and if it doesn't give you sufficient you will still have clinical symptoms.
