Has anyone experienced being disgnosed Hypothyroid, taking the meds whether they be Levo or Natural NDT for a few years with no improvement and then stopping the treatement for 8-12 months resulting in feeling fantastic with all symptoms gone?

Yes, but I didn't last 8 months. 6 months was my limit.
I think it's a fairly common phenomena, but it doesn't last forever. Do you have Hashi's? Because Hashi's swings from hypo to 'hyper', passing through 'normal' on the way. That could explain it. But, even without Hashi's, people report that they feel fantastic for a while when they stop their thyroid hormone replacement. But, then, the symptoms usually come creeping back in. Nobody has an explanation for this.
