I saw him several years ago and then he was working part time in the UK but was living in France. I think he was in his 80s then so I don't know if he is still practicing.

If he is I found him very good for supporting the thyroid gland and I was off thyroxine for over a year with what he recommended, with normal blood results.

Hi Mouse. Can I ask how you felt on that regimen?

I felt well for about a year but then went back onto thyroxine. I am just about to start the supplements again as levothyroxine and NDT don't seem to agree with me.

Thanks for the reply. I'm interested in how others get on w using various methods to try to avoid thyroid meds. I tried it and a friend of mine is/was doing it (not sure how she is getting on w it but I see on fb her hair has got v thin).

I tried a Chinese medicine regimen (no idea if it was similar or not to Dr Budd's) which 'helped' in that my results came back into normal range, but I never felt well and in the end it felt like a bit of a slog for nothing. I was unfortunate in that my energy was already v low, but my friend didn't have much in the way of symptoms (she is still v active and energetic) so she may have fared better.

Thank you so much. I am seeing him in October. So I will see for myself. He is still practicing in London and Leamington.
