yes..a gut in poor condition, is said to be the cause of autoimmune disease. See the google leaky gut and autoimmune disease, Mark Hyman MD and Dr. Mercola, Isabella Wentz..reversed her hashimotos with diet and Terry Wahls MD, reversed her MS thru diet too..its all over the internet.
