Hi dose of carbimazole 30mg

Went to see endo and was prescribed carbimazole 30mg for graves disease. Is this a high dose?

I know it's early days and still feel awful, how long will it take for med to work?

Hi. It seems to vary but I felt miles better fairly quickly, probably within 2 weeks. I felt really dreadful with graves symptoms and had put up with them for some time and perhaps that's what made my improvement seem so dramatic. It really did feel like a miracle!
