very sore ribs and abdominal pain...

So i had a bit of an indulgent weekend where i ate some (GF) sour sweets, lentils crisps and then a big roast lamb sunday dinner... straight after the dinner i went to stretch and i had very sore ribs & tummy - almost like i had done a very intense ab workout (can assure you thats not happened in a long time!)

i thought maybe i had just eaten too much but it's still just as bad today with lower abdominal pain, referred sharp pain in my left wrist simultaneously with a sharp pain in the stomach randomly. My ribs are sore to touch and breathing deep is noticeably difficult, it almost feels muscle related but when i push my tummy in it's tender too.

I found out that although the gravy pot says gluten free, it has Barley in which isn'y gluten free so how does that work?! I'm not coeliac but have Hashi's so been avoiding it for a few months now. I haven't had to dash to the toilet or be sick but is this a 'normal' side effect from poisoning my body with gluten after a long time? or could it be something else...? TIA

Hi Purplejuicy,

I hope you are feeling better now. If not, you might want to consult your GP.

Thanks clutter, it passed after a couple of days so I'm putting it down to the barley. Will avoid like the plague from now on!
