For years now when I'm run down the first thing that I notice is that my throat feels swollen and painful. No dr ever seemed able to explain why. I'm now hypo diagnosed with hashis (only last 4/5 months) and it's getting more and more regular. Dr says my thyroid is enlarged. Now I'm also very sensitive if anything touches my throat.
Is this a common feeling?

If I eat food I'm intolerant. .it gives a systemic reaction eg throat, runny nose, mucus, tight shoulders, fatigue and sometimes rashes. This is because the gut lining is compromised and so a hashi's flare is part of the food reaction.
Also my throat gets tender. And harder to swallow.
