Advice needed - throat pain

Hi I'm new here was diagnosed with hyperthyroid 6 months ago. My levels are in the normal range now, have been for the past 2 months and I'm now on carbimazole 5mg once daily.

For the past few days I have had pain at the very back of my throat towards the right hand side and it sometimes goes slightly towards my ear. Its only when I swallow quite hard I'm fine when sipping a drink. Its also worse at night when i lie down.

This is the first throat pain I've had, do I need to see GP or is it just a bit of a head cold?

I'm sorry you had no replies. If the throat pain hasn't resolved you should make an appointment to see your GP.
