Most Recent TSH Level Test

Just got the results back from my doctor in regards to my TSH level: .0683 uIU/ml. Range: 0.320 - 5.500 uIU/mL

(This is on a dose of 50mcg per day.)

He's only test my Free T4 once before this most recent test: 1.40ng/dL. Range: 0.70 - 1.80ng/dL). Won't test T3 anything.

I'm glad to be below 1.0 in the TSH arena, so should I now just leave this alone, then have a retest done next year?

You guys are great and I am so happy I have found you. I would not be where I am today (feeling BETTER!!) if I hadn't had all your sound, wonderful advice!!

Thank you, eljil, for the article. I read it. I wish the doctors would do the complete thyroid testing and not just go by the TSH, but I doubt if that will happen in my lifetime.
