This is quite an old article but very meaty and interesting so I thought I'd share. A lot about vit d and problematic definitions of ME and CFS as well as other good stuff.

Interesting...

I've often thought that the medical profession decided centuries ago that someone with (what they perceive to be) a mental illness cannot be physically ill. So your link says that, according to NICE Guidelines, someone with ME can't be tested for vitamin D deficiency, even though it is known that severe vitamin D deficiency is a common finding in people with ME. I've never understood this attitude, and I never will.

I didn't realise that Vitamin d is so very important for so many things... autoimmune, cancer, etc. not to mention ME//CFS. Given our summer, I imagine many of us are deficient. Time to get the sunshine lamp out I think!
