Been referred to an ENT

As stated in my last post, I'm still struggling with symptoms such as lump in throat, air hunger, squeezing feeling around neck. I asked my GP if we could run thyroid antibodies as well as tests for B12 and a few other things. She didn't say no - but instead referred me to an ENT, effectively washing her hands of me as if she doesn't know what's wrong with me. I just don't understand why I'm having those issues and the doc says she sees swollen lymph nodes and an enlarged thyroid - but the blood tests have yet to show signs of an infection.

What kind of tests will the ENT order? Will he order a repeat ultrasound (maybe to see if the first one missed something)? Will he order a CT Scan? Blood work?

Dbreweur,

I'm sorry you've had no replies. I think what your ENT sees on the scan will determine whether further tests are required.
