Solgar and Jarrows are brands recommended for quality for the vitamins and minerals.
Most independent pharmacies are aware that people may be told to buy vitamins or mineral supplements by their doctors so they either sell one of those brands, or generics which they know will raise your blood levels.
You can buy Solgar and Jarrows online through Amazon. The prices isn't much different to buying it in person.
The form of magnesium you want is magnesium citrate. Vitamin D is vitamin D3.
I have no idea on the salt.
KornishPiskie I think we all have our favourite brands. Personally I prefer to spend my money on quality supplements that have good bioavailability and decent ingredients rather than a cheap supplement which uses the cheapest ingredients with poor absorption and poor bioavailability.
Some good brands are Thorne Research, Cytoplan (also Nature's Own which is the same company), Lambert's (also Nature's Best is the same company), also BioCare, Nutri Advanced.
For good prices and good customer service I use Bodykind bodykind.com and Health Monthly healthmonthly.co.uk/health_... . If they don't have what I want then I check Amazon, Lifestyle Labs lifestyle-labs.com and sometimes eBay.
For D3 I use this one bodykind.com/product/2463-B... as it has only two ingredients - D3 and extra virgin olive oil. That dosage is the best value and you can use it 5 or 6 days a week at that dose to get you close to the 28,000iu a week that you want. You also need K2 when taking D3. Vit D aids absorption of calcium and K2 directs the calcium to bones and teeth rather than soft tissues. I'm currently looking to replace my present Vit K so can't recommend one at the moment.
For magnesium I use Natural Calm magnesium citrate powder (makes a nice drink with OJ and reduces the number of capsules/tablets) amazon.co.uk/Natural-Calm-S... - prices vary so I always check.
Vit C I again use Nutribiotics ascorbic acid powder amazon.co.uk/NutriBiotic-As... which works out at less than 4p per 1000mg and it is the L-ascorbic type which is better than the D-ascorbic type although most brands don't tell you which they use.
Selenium I am currently using Cytoplan but will be looking at others from the brands listed above to see if I can get another decent one cheaper.
Himalayan salt I got from Amazon (I think) but there are lots of places if you Google.
Seaside Susie ,you can get D3 with K2 from Thorne and from Maxx Labs .The latter K2 is MK7 ,Thornes is a different version which I have read on this site is not as good for thyroid but I could have got that wrong.
H&B for salt, magnesium, vit. D, vit. C, Nature's best for selenium, (esp. if you want yeast free and without the usual disgusting smell of selenium)
