I need help again please.

After posting my blood test results many lovely people ( I don't know what I would do with out you all) replied to say I am not on enough T3.

4.1 ( 3.5 - 6.5)

I realise that and have tried many times to increase but after a couple of weeks I start to feel really ill and have to return to my original dose.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any advise please?

I've tried splitting the dose.

I don't know whether you are taking NDT alone - T3 alone or a combination of the two? How long have you been on it. If you are feeling unwell with specific symptoms - something's not right. What doses?

I am on 2.5grains NDT and 25mg T3. Had that dose for over a year now Shaws. On that I still get the symptoms of Terrible brain fog and exhaustion, Fibromyalgia

I would also like to go onto T3 only as it's easier for me to get hold of, but I've tried the equivalent of T3 and I feel Terrible.

After advice on this site, I have started supplementing D3 and B12 and Magnesium nw.

Fibro is also connected to a dysfunction of the thyroid gland and I've read if we are 'thyroid hormone resistant'- i.e. T3 cannot enter cells we need T3 only.

You say 'I've tried the equivalent of T3' - what is this please?

That is interesting info.

I have calculated how much T3 (after converting ) and taken it. So it worked out at 46.25 T3 +the 25 I was already on. I also tried the NDT 2.5 gr. +the 25T3 and inc. by 6.5 T3 and after about2 wks I felt really bad again.
