Levo to Thyroid S dose conversion

Can anybody please help with converting a dosage of 200 Levo to Thyroid S ? My doctor has given me 4 Thyroid S 65mg a day. 2 in the morning and two at about 2pm. Does that sound about right ? Many Thanks

200mcg Levothyroxine is equivalent to 3 x 65mg Thyroid-S. If you've not tried T3 or NDT before it is advised you reduce Levothyroxine by 75mcg and introduce 65mg Thyroid-S. 2 weeks later reduce Levothyroxine by 75mcg and raise Thyroid-S to 130mg and do the same two weeks later.

Thanks. We did it slowly and dropped levo whilst increasing Thiroyd S. I feel fine with no adverse effects. I was just wondering if I am on an equivalent dose or if I should try and increase. Many thanks for your input.

When you've been on 3 grains for 6 weeks have a thyroid blood test to check levels before increasing further.
