What is your vitamin D level? What exactly are your vitamin B12, folate and ferritin levels ? What is your T3 level?

I don't know my vit D level. I was taking B12 but got facial flushes after about a couple of weeks so stopped it. Ferritin is slightly low as far as I can remember and T3 is OK. sorry I can't find my blood test results and I never had vit D tested.

Bottom of the feet ... do you think that's a reduction in the fat pad we walk on .. so ironic that everything gets fat other than the bit where we need it .. or are you getting a pain in your heel especially when you get up, ie plantar fasciitis?

Yes it may be. But I get aching all over at different times. Think it is most probably fibromyalgia or vitamin deficiency. It really is all very confusing. For years I have had aches and pains on and off but just lately it seems to be all the time.

Oddly enough low vitamin B12, low vitamin D and low ferritin levels can lead to foot pain. It's also suspected to be caused by other vitamins and minerals e.g . magnesium.

Oh and fibromyalgia is a list of symptoms which if scrutinised properly is either caused by something like hypothyroidism that isn't properly treated, another autoimmune disease that isn't properly treated or a vitamin deficiency.

BTW if you can afford it you can do a City Assays Vitamin D test - thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

Make sure you don't take any vitamin D supplements for at least 48 hours.

Alternatively ask your GP and point out that you have been housebound or not doing anything outside work, and you work inside, for over a year due to illness.

THanks I may go to the G P and see if he will test Vit D.
