Thank you for posting. When I was diagnosed back in 2005 I was prescribed T4. Anti-bodies were high but all the TFT's were in range. My GP here in Crete said the T4 was to support my thyroid whilst under attack.
I have often quoted this little event without knowing the research - so thank you.

I was very symptomatic with euthyroid Hashi's. Symptoms swung between hyper and hypo so hard to see whether T4 would have helped or hindered unless a reduction in antibodies was the help needed to resolve all the symptoms. GP and thyroid surgeon were convinced that euthyroid Hashi's was asymptomatic and symptoms were non-thyroidal but they resolved after thyroidectomy so I'm not convinced.
You can prove anything if you decide the results BEFORE the study.
