Welcome to the forum, Ang51.
It will help members to see whether you are optimally medicated if you post your recent thyroid results and ranges. If you don't have them ask your GP receptionist for a print out of your most recent results and ranges and post them in a new question for comment.
It may help menopausal hot flushes if you ask your GP for HRT.
If you haven't had a recent test for your thyroid hormones, follow this procedure:-
Make the appointment for your blood at the earliest and don't eat before it although you can drink water.
Allow 24 hours between your last dose of levo and the blood test and take levo afterwards. (maybe put levo elsewhere on the day before just in case you take them before test which will skew results)
This allows the TSH to be at its highest as doctors are apt to deprive us of an optimum dose as they only take the TSH into account, not realising the patient may feel much better if it is around 1 or lower and they ignore clinical symptoms (which they don't know in the first place).
It sounds to me as if you aren't on an optimum of hormones to raise your metabolism and allow you to reduce weight.
