Bleed into thyroid cyst

Hi Im new to this group but wondered if any one can help.

I have a benign thyroid cyst that has had a bleed into it. It was drained when they did the FNA, but has refilled in under a fortnight. I have an appointment mid June, but Im concerned how big it could get, as it is uncomfortable with neck pain/swallowing .

Has any body heard that the blood can be re adsorbed or will it stop growing?Or any suggestions what to do ? Many thanks!

As the cyst is painful contact your endo and see whether it is necessary to have your appointment brought forward. Thyroid changes take a long time to develop so I doubt there would be much enlargement in 3 weeks until your appointment.
