Hi I am pretty new to this group an wanted to ask for your views and advise.
Since I was diagnosed with hypo (3 1/2 years) I never felt OK or returned back to my old self. When I was diagnosed my Tsh was 100 and my T4 was 0.02. I had myxedema and muscle spasms. I gained about 10 kg which never went. I have been prescribed 125 Levo.
Since Feb this year, I have been contacting my endo and finally, after a blood test results I got an appointment for tomorrow. Before I put my test results ( which are basic) my main concern was and I felt like my cells were not absorbing t4/t3...( sorry I am new to this and just learning the technical terms.
From other thyroid groups I read that you are suppose to stop your Levo at least 24 -48 before the blood test. Which I did and surprisingly I still got:
Free T4 14.8 ( 10.30 - 24.50) this is down from 20's.
Free T3. 4.1. (3.50 - 6.50)
TSH 0.05 ( 0.30 - 5.50). Down from 3.
Some of the website I am checking referring to too much T4 and possibly going hyper but I do not have any hyper symptoms at all.. Still got the weight, latergy, night swets cloudy head, constipation, ...The only difference has been an increased palpitation, constantly red - blood shot chest and face.
Any suggestions or ideas before I see my endo?

Your TSH is low but FT4 and FT3 are also low in range so you are not overmedicated. A dose increase to raise FT4 and FT3 will suppress TSH but may improve your symptoms. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...
Night sweats can be caused by menopause, B12 or folate deficiency and both can be checked via blood tests. Trying a 100% gluten-free diet may improve constipation and some people have said it helps with weight loss.

Thank you, have removed gluten from my diet but need to look into it in more detail... I am hoping I am not starting the menapause journey, but I will ask for B12 and folate check today...
