hi I have hypothyroidism could it be possible if I get the form I can get free percription. not had any thyroid medication as yet still messing me around need to get other medication as usual calcium, vit d , anti malarials..

don't now what my latest blood test was haven't been able to see it for myself???...

If you are diagnosed with hypothyroidism you will get a medical exemption certificate x

Hi there

Once your doctor has prescribed medication T4 probably then your surgery should have a form for you to complete. You fill in your details & then the doc will fill in the rest & send it off. You should get an NHS exemption card. Please be aware that you have to renew this yourself( ie ask for the form) the NHS & your GP are not obliged to remind you. (Only added this because they used to)
