I saw a locum GP yesterday who actually sat and listened and was very nice, however not sure what he has prescribed is the best. Should I stick with his scrip's or supplement with something different. I have already started Jarrows sub. 5000 B12 and D3 5000 with K2 included.
Colecalciferol 800unit capsules
150 capsule - 5 capsules daily
Cyanocobalamin 50microgram tablets
50 tablet - Take one twice a day
Folic acid 5mg tablets
28 tablet - Take one daily
Thank you for your time and help thus far

With the vitamin D your tablets are easier to take so I would take them. For some reason in some areas doctors are only allowed to and pharmacists only get 800IU tablets as it's the cheapest form which can be prescribed in different combinations to adults and children.
B12 again your one is better as you will definitely absorb it. Again if it's shown you can absorb vitamin B12 they will prescribe you Cyanocobalamin as it's the cheapest form.
With the Folic acid it would be better for you to go and buy a B complex tablet which has some of the other B vitamins in it as well.
Thank you for your replies. I will stick to my jarrow b12 and take the folic acid for the month. Have no choice but to take my own d3 as believe it or not my pharmacy (the biggest chain) haven't got it in stock!
Here's hoping with all these supplements I soon feel more like me. Thank you for your support.
