I have seen many HU folks complaining about Tinitus and I am one of them. I have been doing a lot of research on it's origins and effects, and thought I would share some of the info with all of you.
There is some very interesting reading, and a lot of it. So my apologies to those of you who do not enjoy reading. LOL!
Thank you so much for sharing this information. Personally I have suffered from tinnitus for 13 years and it never stops! The one thing I would like to add as I did not see it mentioned is that tinnitus in one ear can be caused by a brain tumour. I know this because it happened to me and no-one told me until my ENT consultant told me he was having an MRI scan due to tinnitus in one ear. So please get yourself checked out if this refers to you and don't get fobbed off as it took me 6 years to find out I had a meningioma by which time I had lost the hearing in my ear.
I am so glad to hear that Dante but I would like to say that after 3 MRIs
and having had the tumour removed from my ear, 18months later I was told I still had some tumour in the menengies, they had totally missed it, so please make sure they are certain.
