In Crete they have pomegranate day, they grow everywhere. I love them on salads, unusual mix, adds crunch, flavour, and lots of health benefits.

Here is a super link to the health benefits of the humble Pomegranate. I know that I have posted before about it, but just wanted to do so again, as it is such a great fruit.

And I know that I have replied before ;-) BUT I cannot say enough about the wonderful pomegranate, love it and love how Crete celebrates this! [But cranberries + blueberries also make up my three favourites :-) ].
