Understanding Blood Results

Hi all, I've been to the docs as I can't seem to lose weight and I'm exhausted all the time. I've had blood tests which the Doc said was normal but I think that maybe there might be an indicater for Hyperthyroidism but I'm not sure.

My results are as follows:

Serum TSH level - 2.72miu/L

Serum free T4 level - 13 pmol/L

I'd be really grateful if anyone had any feedback on these

Thanks so much

You need the ranges as these differ around the country, you're entitled to a print out of your results:

nhs.uk/chq/pages/Category.a...

Also never believe a GP when they say 'normal' as what's normal for one person isn't normal for another.

I have them :-)

Ranges are as follows

TSH 0.35-3.5

Free t4 8-21

So I show in normal ranges but was trying to work out if I'm borderline? Xx

Don't suppose an FT3 test was done? Or any other tests such as ferritin? The TSH of a healthy person is around 1 but the NHS don't do anything until it's reached over 10.

Yes, I'll see if I can post a pic of them x
