My doctor (a so called top doctor) in Belgium diagnosed me with adrenal fatigue (my levels in 24 h urine, preferred by this doctor, were 30, and should be at least 50), but wanted me to try a supplement before trying prescription HC. This is what I was told to take, for at least 90 days:
I have taken it for about a month, but do not feel any difference whatsoever I would really appreciate some feedback from others here; do you think this product is likely to work in someone with hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue...?
In my opinion (I'm not medically qualified) this product isn't likely to make much difference. it's composed of vitamins and supplements that support normal adrenal operation, but if yours are fatigued you might be better adding an adrenal supplement such as Nutriadrenal or Dr Wilson's Adrenal Rebuilder. These are the dried extracts of adrenal glands from safe animal sources and this was the method used historically to treat adrenal problems. They contain all the amino acids to help rebuild the gland tissue. They may also contain small amounts of cortisol, although the manufacturers deny this (probably to avoid regulatory complications). These can be bought without prescription. Low dose HC is another option, you need to go back to your doc and discuss this.
