Any suggestions please

I was remembering when I was first diagnosed with Graves 16 years ago and subsequently 6 years ago. They had me ready to have radioactive iodine, both times. The second time I was given all the information and a date. However, my TSH was never high enough and I'd started with TED. Now TSH is ok and Antibodies high, and the Endo has refused to see me. I am totally disenfranchised from GP or any health care because iv been told its Somatic Symptom disorder. Very depressed :-(

Debbymcc60, can you post your thyroid results and ranges (figures in brackets after results) to help members advise?

I don't have them, ENT did it and said she'd refer me to Endo because high antibodies. TSH I can't remember but she said in subclininal hypo range.

Debbymcc60, I suggest you contact the ENT and ask for the results and ranges. Subclinical hypothyroidism means TSH is 5-10, with normal FT4. If your TSH is >5 your symptoms are almost certainly due to hypothyroidism and are not somatic.

There is no treatment for autoimmune diseases like Graves and Hashimoto's but adopting 100% gluten-free diet may reduce symptoms and antibodies.

Thank you Clutter. My next ENT is April. I feel like I have waves of hyper ,pounding fast heart, and tremor and unable to keep still, then I just stop. Can't wake up, cold and depressed. Mainly I'm struggling to use my arms outstretched or over my head makes my throat hurt and my head pound. Despite having Graves antibodies, and aortic regurgitation, it's all just because I'm thinking about it too much. About a year ago I called999 because my heart was so fast and I felt really light headed/ dizzy. My pulse was 149 when the paramedics arrived. They did an ECG so knew I wasn't having a heart attack. At the hospital they showed something to the triage nurse. Without even speaking to me I was wheeled into the general waiting room. I was told that my ears were a bit red so prescribed antibiotics. Nobody at hospital took my pulse or listen ed to my heart. Gp said anxiety/ panic attack. But I was not anxious or panicked I was just ill. So sorry to go on..seriously wondering what the Point of anything is . I'll look at the Gluten information thanks again
