So for the past few months, i have ben more tired than ever, i sleep 7-8-9 hours each night, however i still cannot wake up in the morning, i am tired all the time, and when i get to work i feel even worse, i feel down and out and am constanly looking for a new job because i am under the impression that this is happening because of my job. I work frm 7.30am-16:45 pm and we have very short breaks. I am also vey irritable especially with my husband. I read my symptoms up and he internet has given me many diagnoses.
I really do not know what to do, my eyes are starting to close even while i am typing and my workload has picked up, but i have lost interest .

You have given no information on your Profile as to whether you have hypothyroidism or are undiagnosed.
I am assuming you are undiagnosed and fatigue can be a clinical symptom of hypothyroidism. So the first thing you must do is ask your doctor to do a Full Thyroid Function Test (some only do a TSH blood test and maybe T4). TSH stands for Thyroid Stimulating Hormone which is from the Pituitary Gland and if our Thyroid Gland is under attack the Pituitary Gland tries to stimulate the Thyroid hormone thus a rise in the TSH which indicates a thyroid gland problem.
The appointment should be the eariest possible and fast although you can drink water. I am assuming you are on no thyroid hormones - if so leave around 24 hours between your last dose and the blood test.
Always get a print-out of your blood test results from the surgery and you can post if you any queries re your thyroid gland.
A full thyroid function test is:- TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3, (these are thyroid hormones) vitamin B12, Vitamin D, iron, ferritin and folate.
If your GP is unwilling you can get a private test for those he will not do and we have a list of recommended labs.
"I am not a medical professional and this information is not intended to be a substitute for medical guidance from your own doctor. Please check with your personal physician before applying any of these suggestions"
It's a good idea to get B12, ferritin, folate and Vit D checked too, these can all cause similar symptoms to low thyroid if they are low. Plus the thyroid gland needs them to be at a good level to work properly. Good luck with feeling better.
