Hello everyone!
Today I have received atpo result. I have been thinking that atpo are antibodies which show up with Hashimoto but my gp said 'We will see if you have Graves' and I have been tested for atpo. I am confused right now.

Agataka, positive thyroid peroxidase antibodies means you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). The tests for Graves are thyroid receptor antibodies (TRab) or thyroid stimulating immunoglobin (TSI). It's not uncommon to have Hashimoto's and Graves.

Thank you Clutter I thought so but I am still don't know why gp checked atpo for Graves and my endo didn't checked any antibodies at all. They didn't done ultrasound and I heard that with hyper even they don't feel any goitre or lumps it is necessary to check ultrasound. I am really confused and feelegant that they don't care about me at all.
