Thermography Scans

I am having a follow-up thermography scan on Thursday 21st January where some people from my thyroid support group are also attending. If you are interested in having a thermography scan do let me know as we have some spaces left.

Message me and I can give you more details. This is for men and women.

Are you having it instead of ultrasound? Are you following nodules?

I had a fully body thermography scan and this is the follow-up breast scan. Sorry I should have explained more, it's because we were discussing it in another thread.

The details can be found here:- medscans.co.uk

I've done some research and apparently if they find anything, you'll still be sent to have a mammogram. No surgeon will accept the thermography scans on their own. Who is analysing these scans? Are they sent abroad?

It's interesting that they do the breasts separately. Do they give a reason why if you had already a scan of the whole body.

That is not correct, they would never send anyone for a mammogram because they are harmful.

You have a breast scan as a baseline and then the following scans are comparisons.

I would never discuss a thermography scan with a GP.

It's about the changes that you make. Non wired bras, natural deodorant and other tips that they share.

Switzerland have stopped mammography and hopefully all other countries will follow.

The DVD from medscans.co.uk is definitely worth watching.

Sorry if I made myself misunderstood. The surgeons won't operate on a person based only on a thermography. I agree with you that mammograms are harmful. But I checked with a hospital in Switzerland and they do still mamograms.

I discussed this issue with some friends and agreed that ultrasound should be the norm but apparently they take too long.

A friend of mine had a routine mammogram and they found a small lump. I accompanied her to the hospital for further testing and a ultrasound did not show the lump at all. This is why they don't do ultrasounds but do mammograms.

She is now recovering following surgery.

I had a biopsy during an ultrasound. So, it means that they operated on her without having had a biopsy. Not that it's so imprtant as anyway they analyse a sample to see if it's cancer and if it is, what type exactly. Hope she hasn't had any nodes removed.

I have learnt a great deal after reading and watching many film clips and what I have learnt is contrary to what any one medically trained tells us.

The full truth will come out one day, until then it is for those of us who have their doors open to want to watch and listen to the truth.

It's pointless me telling friends and acquaintances on thyroid forums to do preventative steps like using natural deodorant, wearing unwired bras, following a healthy diet, not having breasts squashed and receiving harmful radiation because it's only for those who want to listen.

The main problem is fear.

I am no longer afraid.

Sorry to show my ignorance, but is this similar to the ultrasound scan I had back in September on my thyroid? Thanks, M

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I have declined having mammograms because of the information I have seen and read that they are unsafe. More details about thermography are here:- medscans.co.uk

Thermography is totally safe. I had a full body scan a few months ago and this is the follow-up for the breast scan.

Sorry, I cannot seem to edit my post.

I live in a village in Warwick.

Oh, and its at yours? I'm in Berkshire, so I suspect cheaper to get it done rather more locally!

Sorry. Yes I highly recommend Rosa at medscans.co.uk there is a list of clinics or you can arrange for people to come to your house.

The DVD is well worth watching.

How very interesting Suze. When more time I will watch the video. I'm due a mammogram soon but due to arthritis in shoulders keep putting it off. Thanks for the info. Amazing what you learn on this website. X
