Could anyone recommend a good functional medicine practitioner that specialises in thyroid / hashimotos in the south of England.

I have today seen a Dr in Gatwick Park who also works on NHS in Surrey and Sussex and had a great appointment. He really took all the symptoms and history and took notice of my urine and saliva results that the other doctor has poo-pooed. He sent me for all the right thyroid tests and an ultra sound of my thyroid that morning and insisted I see him next week - even added me even though book was full. He says he will treat with, levo, T3 or NDT if I prefer though I will have to pay for latter. So he really showed a caring interest and I have confidence that he will see me through this after 20 years of increasing exhaustion. He actually said that he would suggest treatment of someone who showed symptoms even if their blood results were lowish in range.

I would pm you with name but not sure how. if "A" is top of the alphabet range his surname initial is at bottom of range!
