Hello everyone, I had a blood test and my Thyroid Peroxidase Antobody level is shown as 0.0 iu/ml
and the normal range is shown as 0.00-6.00 iu/ml
Can anyone tell me what does this mean? is it good or bad?

It means if you have thyroid problems, they are not caused by auto immune disease. So, good news.

Hi Remo, there are other antibodies to test. There is no normal range per se and everyone can have a few, they have just chosen a number which someone feels could mean there is a problem when more than>. Here is a brief summary of each.

You do not have Thyroid Peroxide Antibodies ... Lucky you.
Ensure to be tested for Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TGAb) as well, as either can diagnose Hashimotos.
You had nutrient deficiencies last time you posted. These could stop your thyroid hormone replacement meds working properly. Have you been supplementing to rectify?
